This is currently being blocked by grangeway, who as a sidenote seems to
be spending a lot of time on nice to have but somewhat futile endeavors
at the moment (e.g. the coding guidelines thing) instead of delivering
on the more important topics (where are those security patches !?) as
per his own committments.

The rest is minor stuff which can easily go in a later release (beta or
.x) as far as I'm concerned.
